This Tutorial was written on May 15th 2007 by me.
Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.

Supplies needed are here:

Tube of choice
Font(s) of choice
Preset shapes
Mask of choice
Eyelets & Screws courtesty of Dozi
Chays Frames courtesy of Fontstock
Stitched Stars you can find here
Without proper credit or permission, I'm not able to share the other supplies.

Open a new 600 x 600 image. Floodfill with white. Resize later if necessary.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
I'm using the AWESOME work of Keith Garvey. You need a license to use his work.
You can get more information from mypsptubes and at the same time grab some fab tubes.

Next add a new layer and floodfill with black.
Go to layers, load/save mask, load mask of choice from disk .
Settings are: source luminance, fit to layer, make sure invert transparency is unchecked.
As well, hide all mask then hit load.
(My computer is being funny tonight and won't let me do any screenshots)

Next go to your preset shapes and find the shape chays frames which I've provided.
Foreground nil, background is pattern, paper. 0 angle 100 scale.
Go to effects, inner bevel and use the following settings:
Use bevel #2, width 1, smoothness 33, depth 14, ambience 22, shininess 37
Color white, angle 60, intensity 34 and elevation 25. Hit ok.

Next go back to your preset shapes and choose rectangle.
This time foreground is pattern, paper and background is black. Width 10.
Draw a rectangle to cover the bottom of your tube. Big enough for a name.
Now go to effects, texture effects, fine leather and use these settings:
Color #dcdcdc, angle 315, blur 3, transparency 255, number of furrows 149 and length 8.
Hit ok.

Next take the one of the stars I provided. I used the one to the top right.
Thanks to Valj for designing these stars. I do not have a link for her site.
I changed the color of the center star to match the red in my tube.
To do this, go to your freehand tool, selection point to point and magnify your image.
Trace the inside blue star point to point the go to adjust, hue/saturation and colorize.
Choose a color closest to the red in your tube or whichever color you'd like.
Add the same texture effect to the star using the settings as above.
Duplicate the star and mirror the image.

Next take the hangers provided by Melissa. Check out Scrappy Expressions here.
I took the gold one and resized it and place it at the top of my preset shape.
Im not able to make screenshots so please refer to my tag. Duplicate then mirror.
Then take the screw and do the same. Resize it and colorize to match. Duplicate then mirror.
Add the same inner bevel to the screw as you did with the preset shape.
Add any other elements if you'd like.

Finally, I used the font arriere garde and wrote my text.
Don't forget to add your copyright info and tag your work. And you're done!!
Thanks for trying my tut. I hope you enjoyed it!

Much love -n- hugzzz
